The only thing better than one of my favorite things is two of my favorite things bred together into a crazy new favorite thing. Naturally I'm on a mashup kick these days. I've been a Moby fan since grade school, and I'd been digging Adele's breakout single for the past few months. Someone on the internet decided it was unacceptable for these two artists to remain separate and mashed up "Rolling in the Deep" with "Extreme Ways". The result is at least a million times better than either of the original songs. The way Moby's shrill instrumentation rides against Adele's master pipework in the chorus is just ace. The videos of each song also jibe surprisingly well; they're shot in similar color palettes and make for a pretty unified remix video when spliced together. Well done, DJ Y, if that is your real name.
